Extending Guidance Period of Rental Report System

A guidance period for the Housing Rental Report System which was initiated in June, 2021 will be extended by one year by May, 2023.

The length of most leases is two years, leading the provincial office to extend the guidance period to ease the burdens of residents.

People who receive more than 300,000 won of rental fees or receive more than 60 million won of deposits need to make a report to local community centers within 30 days after contract conclusion.

The Housing Rental Report System is also applied when contract content has changed or when contracts are terminated. People who do not make reports or make false reports will be fined by up to one million won.




주택 임대차 신고제 과태료 부과 1년 유예

제주특별자치도가
지난해 6월부터 시행하고 있는
주택 임대차 신고제 계도기간을 내년 5월까지 1년 더 연장합니다.

대부분의 임대차 계약기간이 2년이고
도민 부담 완화 차원에서 이같이 결정됐다고 설명했습니다.

신고대상은
보증금 6천만원 또는 월차임 30만원을 초과하는 경우로
계약체결일로부터 30일 이내에
읍면동주민센터로 접수해야 합니다.

주택 임대차 신고는
계약 내용의 변경이나 해제 때에도 의무적으로 적용되며
미신고 또는 거짓 신고 때에
최고 100만원의 과태료가 부과됩니다.
