Crackdown on Illegal Advertisements

As illegal advertisement materials are expected to increase caused by the lift of social distancing measures, the police and provincial office will conduct a cooperative crackdown.

The Jeju Police Agency will form a team with provincial and city government officials to conduct the crackdown. The crackdown will focus on illegally distributed advertisement and unauthorized billboards in the downtown areas.

The police commented on the concern of the spread of illegal advertisements with the ease of social distancing measures. They added that violators will be severely punished.

코로나19 거리두기 해제 이후 불법 광고물이 늘 것으로 예상되면서
경찰과 행정이 합동 단속을 실시합니다.

제주경찰청은
제주도와 행정시와 전담 팀을 꾸려
도내 번화가를 중심으로
불법 광고물 살포나
허가 없이 옥외 광고물을 설치하는 행위 등을 집중 단속합니다.

거리두기가 해제되면서
도심 미관을 저해하는 불법 광고물이 기승을 부릴 수 있다며
적발될 경우
형사 입건하는 등 엄정 조치하겠다고 밝혔습니다.
