Recruiting for Head of Public Positions

The Jeju Institute for Lifelong Education and Scholarship is recruiting for the head position. This is the first time that the new provincial administration is hiring the head in the local organization financed by the province.

The heads of other local public organizations are expected to be hired soon. The commission of executive recommendation under the institute has initiated the recruiting process of three positions, that include the head and non-executive board member of which the terms expired.

The commission will accept applications by July 5th and the candidates of the head position will be recommended to the provincial governor after review.

The term of the former head of the Jeju Institute for Lifelong Education and Scholarship ended in December, 2021 and the recruitment started,
however, no successful candidates were found delaying the recruitment process. Recruitment for head positions have resumed with the launch of the new provincial government.

The recruiting process for head positions for International Convention Center Jeju, Jeju Foundation for Art & Culture, Jeju Business Agency and Korea Institute of Oriental Medicine will aslo resume.

제주평생교육진흥원장 공모…오영훈 도정 인사 본격화

제주도 출자출연 기관 가운데 처음으로 평생교육장학진흥원장에 대한 공모를 시작으로
출자·출연기관장 인사가 본격화 될 것으로 보입니다. 제주평생교육장학진흥원 임원추천위원회는
임기가 끝난 원장과 비상임 이사 등 3명에 대한 공모 절차에 들어갔습니다.

임원추천위원회는 다음달 5일까지 접수 후 심사를 거쳐 도지사에게 원장 후보자 등을 추천 할 예정 입니다. 제주평생교육장학진흥원은 전임 원장이 지난해 12월 임기가 만료된 후 한 차례 공모를 실시했으나 적임자가 없어 공모가 미뤄져 오다 오영훈 도정 출범을 앞두고
공모에 들어갔습니다.

이와함께 기관장이 공석인 제주국제컨벤션센터, 제주문화예술재단, 제주경제통상진흥원,
제주한의학연구원 등도 조만간 공모에 들어갈 예정입니다.
