JDC Freezes Rental Fees for Public Housing

The Jeju Free International City Development Center (JDC) will not raise deposits and rental fees of its public housing units for two years,

A total of 793 units in two public houses managed by JDC will receive the benefits of freezing rental fees.

The rental contract is renewed every two years and the benefits of freezing rental fees will be given to residents, starting from the people whose lease contract will be renewed in August.

JDC said that rents have increased by 130% in surrounding areas, but JDC has decided to freeze the rental fees for the public housing units due to the economic recession caused by the prolonged COVID-19.

JDC는 주변 시세가 130% 인상됐지만
코로나19 장기화로 인한
경기침체가 길어짐에 따라
임대료 동결을 결정했다고 설명했습니다.
