Local Beaches Open from July 1st

12 local beaches will be officially open on July 1st. Local beaches will be open for two months from July through August.

Beachgoers can enjoy swimming from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and the beaches will be closed during the nighttime.

Since the social distancing measures were lifted, the provincial government expects that many people will visit the local beaches. Hence, the office will deploy more safety guards and equipt the areas with safety equipment.

Various events will be held for beachgoers, including festivals such as the Iho Tewoo Festival and Samyang Black Sand Festival.



도내 해수욕장 내달 1일 개장…야간개장 없어

제주도내 12개 해수욕장이
다음 달 1일부터 일제히 개장합니다.

개장 기간은 다음 달부터 8월까지 두달 동안입니다.

물놀이를 할 수 있는 시간은
오전 10시부터 오후 7시까지로
야간에는 개장하지 않습니다.

제주도는
사회적 거리두기가 해제되며
피서객이 많을 것으로 보고
수상안전요원을 추가로 배치하고
안전장비도 운용하기로 했습니다.

이와함께 개장 기간에 맞춰 이호테우축제, 삼양검은모래축제 등
각 해수욕장별로 다채로운 행사를 마련했습니다.
