Schools to Self Produce Kimchi

Kimchi provided to students in school meals will be produce locally.

The Jeju Province Office of Education explained that since foreign substances were found in Kimchi in school meals at schools located in other regions recently, the office made the decision take action and have schools to produce Kimchi locally.

Hence, all of Kimchi offered in school meals will be made by schools using domestic ingredients.

이물질이 발견돼 논란이 된 것과 관련해
학생과 학부모들의 불신을 해소하기 위해 이 같이 결정했다고 밝혔습니다.

이를 위해 모든 학교 급식실에서 제공되는 김치는
학교에서 직접 국내산 재료를 이용해 만들어 제공할 방침입니다.
