Beaches Open Amid Eased Social Distancing

Local beaches have opened for the public as of the 1st of July. The beaches in the province will be open until the end of August and people will be
allowed into the waters from 10am until 7pm.

Beaches will be closed during the nighttime due to COVID-19. In addition, various festivals including (이호 태우) Iho Taewoo Beach Festival and the (삼양) Samyang Black Sand Festival will be held on beaches around the province.

As the beaches are opening for the first time since safety distancing measures have been eased, the number of beachgoers are expected to rise. Thus, the Korea Coast Guard and police will deploy 330 water safety personnel and squads to help crime prevention.



도내 해수욕장 거리두기 해제 이후 첫 개장


도내 해수욕장이 1일부터 일제히 문을 열었습니다.

개장 기간은 8월까지 두 달이며
물놀이 시간은 오전 10시부터 오후 7시까지입니다.

코로나19 영항으로 야간에는 개장하지 않습니다.

개장 기간에 맞춰 이호테우축제와 삼양검은모레축제 등
해수욕장별로 다채로운 행사도 마련됩니다.

해경과 경찰은 거리두기 해제 이후 첫 개장인 만큼
피서객들이 급증할 것으로 보고
개장 기간 수상안전요원 330여 명을 배치하고
경찰 기동대를 투입해 안전사고 예방과 치안활동을
강화할 계획입니다.
