Crackdown on Illegal Parking at Jeju Port

The province will conduct a crackdown on illegally parked vehicles at the Port of Jeju.

The province announced that it will contudct a crackdown at Jeju Port on unauthorised vehicles parked for more than 10 minutes and for illegal overnight parking of freight vehicles until the 15th.

In particular, illegal freight vehicles that are caught will be fined and warned of the possibility to be banned from entry to the port.

The province reported that 144 cases were identified during a trial period of one month prior to the crackdown.

제주항 내에 무단 주정차된 차량에 대한
집중단속이 실시됩니다.

제주도는 오는 15일까지
제주항만 내에 10분 이상 무단 주정차 행위와
화물차량의 밤샘 주차 행위를 집중 단속한다고
밝혔습니다.

특히, 화물차의 불법 주차행위가 적발될 경우
과징금을 부과하고 항만 출입통제 등의
제재도 이뤄질 수 있다고 강조했습니다.

제주도는 집중단속에 앞서
지난 한달간 계도기간을 운영한 결과
144건의 위반 사항을 적발했습니다.
