Menifee Horse Tops Auction at 77 Mil

(명성) Myeongseong Ranch's Menifee horse sold at the highest price of 77 million won at this year's last domestic racehorse (브리즈업) Breeze Up auction.

At the auction held at the Jeju Ranch of the Korea Racing Authority, a total of 103 horses were listed, and 52 horses, more than half, were sold.

The total winning bid was 1.74 billion won, with the highest sale at 77 million won.

The Breeze Up auction selects qualified race horses by reviewing their sprinting record on a 200 meter course.

올해 마지막 국내산 경주마 브리즈업 경매에서 명성목장의 메니피 자마가 7천7백만원의 최고가로 낙찰됐습니다.

한국마사회 제주목장에서 열린 이번 경매에는 모두 103두가 상장된 가운데 절반이 넘는 52마리가 낙찰됐습니다.

총 낙찰금액은 17억 4천여만원으로 최고가는 7천7천백만원을 기록했습니다.

브리즈업 경매는 직선 200미터 구간을 전력 질주한 기록을 측정해 우수한 경주마를 고르는 경매 방식입니다.
