Recruitment for Jeju Mayor Extended


Due to a low application rate, the recruitment for Jeju Mayor position has been extended.

The Provincial Personnel Committee said it has extended the opening for the Mayoral position by a week, until the 18th.

Due to a low rate of applicants, the hiring process has been extended to enable a more wider range of talents to apply.

Meanwhile, applications for the Seogwipo Mayor position has closed as of the 11th and will have a count by the end of the week.



제주시장 공모기간 18일까지 연장…"응모 저조"


민선 8기 제주도정의 첫 번째 제주시장 공모 기간이 연장됐습니다.
제주도 인사위원회는 개방형 직위인 제주시장 공모 원서접수 마감 기한을 오는 18일까지로 일주일 연장했다고 밝혔습니다.


이는 응모가 저조함에 따라 각계각층의 폭 넓은 인재 참여를 위해 공모 기간을 연장했다고 설명했습니다.


한편 제주시장과 함께 공모했던
서귀포시장은 11일 원서 접수를 마감했으며
우편접수까지 포함한 최종 응시 인원은
이번 주말쯤 확인될 전망입니다.
