Jeju Promotes Specialized Education

Special classes for disabled infants will be established in public kindergartens by region.

The Jeju POE said it will push for a new special class for children with disabilities aged 3 years of age to improve the welfare of disabled students.

These classes will be establisehd in one public kindergarten in the eastern part of Jeju City, one in the eastern part of Seogwipo City, and two in Jeju City.

The POE plans to deploy additional special education specialists to kindergartens where necessary.



권역별 공립유치원에 특수학급 신설 추진

권역별로 공립유치원에 장애유아를 위한
특수학급이 신설될 전망입니다.

제주도교육청은 장애학생 복지 향상을 위해 만 3살 장애유아를 위한 특수학급 신설을 추진한다고 밝혔습니다.

특수학급은 제주시 동지역 공립유치원 1곳과 서귀포시 동지역 1곳 그리고 제주시 읍면지역 유치원 2곳에 설치될 전망입니다.

교육당국은 만 3살 장애유아가 배치된 병설유치원에는 특수교육 지원인력을 추가 배치할 방침입니다.
