Jeju Cracks Down on Direct Payment System

The Jeju branch of the National Agricultural Products Quality Management Service will conduct a compliance inspection by September 15 on farmers who applied for Public-Benefit Direct Payment.

Inspections will focus on farmland maintenance, farm waste management, village community activities, and agriculture archiving.

In particular, the reviews will focus on areas where crop production is not possible using aerial video data and field surveys.

The service team urged for cooperation as farmers may have a 100% deduction of funds if they are found not to comply with regulations.



농관원 제주지원, 직불금제 준수사항 이행 여부 점검

국립농산물품질관리원 제주지원이 공익직접지불금을 신청한 농업인을 대상으로 오는 9월 15일까지 준수사항에 대한 이행여부를 점검합니다.

주요 점검 사항은 농지 기능 유지 여부와 영농폐기물 관리, 마을공동체 활동 참여, 영농일지 작성 등입니다.

특히 농지 기능유지 항목은 항공영상 자료와 현장조사 등을 통해 농작물 생산이 불가능한 면적이 있는지 여부를 중점적으로 조사하게 됩니다.
농관원 제주지원은 준수사항을 이행하지 않을 경우 최대 직불금의 100%가 감액될 수 있다며 준수사항을 잘 이행해 줄 것을 당부했습니다.
