Tangerine Gross Income Hits Record high

Jeju tangerine gross income surpassed 1 trillion won for the first time in history.

According to the province and the Tangerine Trade Union, Jeju's citrus gross income amounted to 1.271 trillion won last year.

This is an 8% increase from the previous year, and marks the first time for gross income from tangerines to exceed 1 trillion won.

The increase is attributed to secured sales channels including
high-quality tangerines,
online sales,
quality inspection, shipment control systems, and isolation of low-quality citrus markets.


Meanwhile, the total throughput of citrus was 613,000 tons last year, down 3.1 percent from the previous year.



제주산 감귤 조수입 사상 최초 1조 원 돌파

제주산 감귤 조수입이 사상 처음으로 1조 원을 돌파했습니다.


제주도와 감귤출하연합회에 따르면 지난해 제주산 감귤 조수입은 1조 271억 원을 기록했습니다.

이는 전년보다 8% 증가한 것으로 조수입이 1조원을 넘은 것은 이번이 처음입니다.


조수입이 증가한 것은 만감류 품질 검사제와 출하조절 제도 시행,
저품질 감귤 시장 격리 등
고품질 감귤 출하와 온라인 판매 등
판로 확보에 따른 것으로 분석됩니다.

한편 지난해 제주 감귤류 전체 처리량은 61만 3천여톤으로 전년 보다 3.1% 감소했습니다.
