Udo Vehicle Restriction Extended

Traffic restrictions on islets surrounding the province will be extended for another three years.


Jeju Island said the order to restrict some vehicle operations in Udo Island will be extended from next month to July 31, 2025.

As a result, rental cars, chartered buses, and two-wheeled vehicles will continue to be banned from entering Udo Island except for vehicles accompanied by residents and the vulnerable such as the disabled.

It has been f years since restricting vehicles and so far the number of incoming vehicles has decreased by 56.9%.
and the effect of improving satisfaction and traffic environment is analyzed to be high.

섬속의 섬 우도 내 차량 운행제한이 3년 더 연장됩니다.

제주도는 우도에서 일부 차량 운행을 제한하는 명령이 다음달부터 2025년 7월 31일까지 연장된다고 밝혔습니다.

이에따라 렌터카와 전세버스, 이륜차 등은 계속해서 우도 진입이 금지됩니다.

다만 우도 주민과 장애인 등 교통약자를 동반한 차량은 운행이 가능합니다.
차량 운행 제한 조치가 시행된 이후 5년 동안 유입 차량은 56.9% 줄었으며 만족도와 교통 환경 개선 효과가 높은 것으로 분석됐습니다.
