Requirements of Farm Households Verified

Jeju City will verify the payment requirements for 14,000 farmers who applied for the direct payment scheme project by September 15.

Verification details include completion of education to promote the public interest of agricultural and rural areas, compliance with pesticide use and chemical fertilizers, and proper disposal of agricultural waste.

Those who haven’t finished the required education may be penalized with a reduction in funds.

Meanwhile, Jeju City will confirm beneficiaries for the payment by November and plans to dispatch the funds by the end of the year.



제주시, 공익직불제 신청 농가 지급요건 검증

제주시가 오는 9월 15일까지 기본형 공익직불제사업을 신청한 1만 4천여 농가를 대상으로 지급요건을 검증합니다.

검증내용은 농업 농촌 공익 증진 교육 이수, 농약과 화학비료 사용기준 준수, 영농폐기물 적정 처리 등의 준수 여부 등입니다.


또 필수교육을 이수하지 않을 경우 직불금 감액 등의 불이익을 받게 됩니다.

한편 제주시는 11월까지 지급대상자를 확정하고 연말에 직불금을 지급할 예정입니다.
