Crack Down on Rental Fraud

The police are cracking down on real estate fraud amid the recent spike in interest rates.

By January next year, the police plan to set up a dedicated investigation team that will focus on anti-corruption and fraudulent crimes in order to crack down on illegal activities related to real estate.

The crackdown will look into 7 categories that include owners intentionally not refunding housing deposits, illegal brokerage activities and illegal investment for capital gains.




경찰, 전세사기 특별단속…전담수사팀 운영

최근 금리인상으로 서민 주거비 부담이 커진 가운데 경찰이 전세 사기 특별 단속을 벌입니다.

경찰은 내년 1월까지 제주경찰청 반부패경제범죄수사대와 경찰서 지능팀을 중심으로 전담수사팀을 꾸려 전세 관련 불법행위를 집중 단속할 계획입니다.


주요 단속대상은 고의적으로 보증금을 돌려주지 않거나
불법 중개 행위, 시세차익을 목적으로 한 갭투자 등 7개 유형입니다.
