Apply for Neutralization of yard dogs

Jeju Island will receive applications for the neutralization project of yard dogs by the 26th.

The project aims at preventing indiscriminate breeding and the occurrence of abandoned dogs. 100 million won will be invested in the project.

With regards to 250 yard dogs, priority will be given to those who rely on basic living income, the second upper class, and the elderly.

Those selected will be able to have their dog neutralized at one of the 27 designated animal hospitals in the province within 3 months.

제주도가 오는 26일까지 읍면지역 마당개 중성화 사업 신청을 받습니다.

이 사업은 무분별한 번식과 유기견 발생을 예방하기 위한 것으로 사업비 1억 원이 투입될 예정입니다.

지원 대상은 마당개 250마리이며 기초생활수급자와 차상위계층, 고령층을 우선순위로 지원합니다.

사업에 선정되면 3개월 이내에 도내 27개 지정 동물병원에서 중성화 시술을 받을 수 있습니다.
