8th Elected Administration Drafts First Budget

Jeju Special Self-Governing Province has begun to compile its first budget proposal for the eighth elected administration.

Budget details are being accumulated from each department through a computerized system until the 16th of next month.

Resident opinions on the budget proposal are also being collected and reviewed, and a survey is being conducted to check on areas for key investment and prioritization of investments.

The province plans to create a budget that focuses on restoring people's livelihood while responding to the economic crisis and includes support for new policy tasks.

Next year's budget will be submitted to the Jeju Provincial Council on November 11.

민선 8기 첫 본 예산안 편성에 착수했습니다.

이를 위해 다음달 16일까지 전산시스템인 이호조를 통해 부서별로 예산요구를 접수하고 있습니다.

이와 함께 예산 편성에 대한 다양한 도민의견을 반영하기 위해 제주도 홈페이지를 통해
역점투자 분야와 재정투자 우선순위 등에 대한 설문을 진행하고 있습니다.

제주도는 민생경제 회복과 경제위기 대응, 새 도정 정책과제를 뒷받침하는데 중점을 두고, 예산안을 편성할 계획입니다.

내년 예산안은 오는 11월 11일, 제주도의회에 제출합니다.
