Budget Secured for Next Year

Jeju Special Self-Governing Province
confirmed next year's government budget to be secured at 1.8528 trillion won.

This is the largest budget proposal ever, up 10.9% from this year's budget.

The budget mainly focuses 13.7 billion won on improving public sewage treatment facilities,
12 billion won on food waste facilities,
10.4 billion won on livestock manure facilities, and 7.9 billion won for a water purification plant modernization project in (강정) Kangjeong.

The funds will also be used to relieve the burden of farm logistic costs and include 1 billion won for integrated logistics to and from the mainland. In addition 2.7 billion won will be used for a joint logistics center construction project.

Also next year, compensation for Jeju 4.3 victims has been increased by 12.6 billion won to193.6 billion won under the Ministry of Interior and Safety budget.

With provincial projects, public offering projects, and assembly appraisals following after September further increase is expected.




내년 국비 1조 8,528억원 확보…역대 최고


제주특별자치도가 최근 국무회의를 거쳐 확정된 내년 정부 예산에서 국비 1조 8천 528억원을 확보했습니다.

이같은 예산안은
올해 예산보다 10.9% 증가한 것으로 역대 최대규모입니다.

주요내용을 보면
제주공공하수처리시설 현대화사업 137억원과 음식물류 폐기물 바이오 가스화 시설 120억원,
가축분뇨 공공 처리시설 104억원, 가정 정수장 현대화사업 79억원 등입니다.


또 농가 물류비 부담 해소를 위해 도서지역 내륙가점 통합물류 운영비 10억원과
공동물류센터 조성사업 1차년도분으로 27억원이 반영되기도 했습니다.

이와는 별도로 내년 4.3 희생자 배보상금으로 올해보다 126억원 늘어난
1천 936억원이 행안부 예산에 포함됐습니다.

제주도는 9월 이후 부처 총액사업과 공모사업, 국회 심의 과정 등을 감안하면
내년 국비 확보액은 더 늘어날 것으로 예상했습니다
