Agency Selection for Sewage Modernization

The long awaited Jeju Public Sewage Treatment Facility Modernization Project is taking its next step after 3 repeated bids and will be moving on to its agency selection stage.

For a modernization project of public sewage treatment facilities in (도두동) Dodu-dong, two consortiums including GS Engineering & Construction and Kumho Engineering & Construction participated in the bidding.
The final round of documents have been submitted.

The plan is to select the final business operator in October following an evaluation by the deliberation committee.

Once the final operator is selected, the design will be finalized by the end of the year and constructions will begin in April.

This project is expected to increase the sewage treatment capacity from 130,000 tons to 220,000 tons a day. The 390 billion won project is estimated to be completed in 2027.




도두하수처리시설 현대화사업 10월 사업자 선정


반복된 유찰로 장기간 표류하고 있는 제주공공하수처리시설 현대화사업이 세번째 입찰 공고 만에 사업자 선정 절차에 돌입했습니다.

제주도는 도두동 공공하수처리시설 현대화사업 입찰에 GS건설 컨소시엄과 금호건설 컨소시엄
두 곳이 참여해 기본설계도서 등 관련 서류 접수를 마쳤다고 밝혔습니다.

이에따라 심의윈회의 평가를 거쳐 오는 10월 쯤 최종 사업자를 선정할 계획입니다.

최종 사업자가 선정되면 연말까지 설계를 확정하고 인허가 절차를 거쳐 내년 4월 착공할 계획입니다.

도두 공공하수처리시설 현대화사업은 하수처리 용량을 하루 13만 톤에서 22만 톤으로 증설하는 사업으로 사업비 3천 9백억여 원이 투입돼 오는 2027년 완공됩니다.
