Motorcycle Deaths Increase

The number of deaths related to two-wheeled traffic accidents has increased significantly compared to last year.

According to the Jeju Police Agency, a total of 8 deaths in two-wheeled vehicle accidents occured this year, which is twice compared to the same period last year.

In particular, out of the 4 deaths, all of the drivers were without helmets.

In terms of single mobile transportation vehicle accidents that occured in July, 20 cases were reported and 22 people who injured.




이륜차 사망 사고 증가…"안전모 미착용"


이륜차 교통사고 사망자가 지난해보다 크게 늘어난 것으로 나타났습니다.

제주경찰청에 따르면 올들어 지난달까지 발생한 이륜차 사고 사망자는 8명으로 지난해 같은 기간보다 2배 늘었습니다.

특히 이 달에만 네 건의 사망사고가 발생한 가운데 모두 안전모를 착용하지 않았던 것으로 알려졌습니다.

개인형 이동장치 사고도 지난 7월까지 20건이 발생했고
22명이 다친 것으로 집계됐습니다.
