Lower Grading on Gov’t Financed Firms

10 Government Guaranteed Businesses were assessed and received a lower marking this year on their management performance compared to the previous year.

The Jeju Credit Guarantee Foundation was the only organization that received the highest "A" rating.

Out of the five institutions the Women's and Family Research Institute was the only organization to receive a higher grading.

In particular, the Economic and Trade Promotion Agency's evaluation fell 4 levels from last year's grade and hiring irregularities were among the issues found during the assessment.

The Jeju Culture and Arts Foundation ranked the lowest rating.

Based on the results of this evaluation, Jeju Island plans to conduct business consultations and draw out improvement measures.




출자·출연기관 10곳 중 4곳 경영평가 '하락'


제주도 산하 10개 출자.출연기관에 대한 지난해 경영실적 평가 결과 전년보다 더 하락한 것으로 나타났습니다.

평가 결과 가장 높은 '가' 등급을 받은 기관은 제주신용보증재단 한 곳에 불과했습니다.

등급이 달라진 5개 기관 가운데 여성가족연구원이 다에서 나 등급으로 상승했을 뿐
나머지 4개 기관은 등급이 하락했습니다.

특히 경제통상진흥원은 지난해 '가' 등급에서 올해 '라' 등급으로 평가가 급격하게 하락했는데 채용비리 등의 문제가 있었던 것으로 확인됐습니다.

제주문화예술재단은 마 등급으로 최하위를 기록했습니다.

제주도는 이번 평가 결과를 토대로 경영컨설팅을 실시하고 개선 방안을 마련해 나갈 계획입니다.
