Emergency Aid for Agricultural Fuels


International oil prices have risen sharply since the war between Russia and Ukraine.
Prices of agricultural fuel offered as duty-free also rose significantly.

In the first half of this year, gasoline prices averaged 1,218 won per liter, diesel 1,326 won, and kerosene 1,069 won, up 60% from the second half of 2019.

As prices have been rising to record levels, the burden on farmers is increasing day by day.

The province has decided to support fuel costs to ease the burden of production costs for struggling farmers.
It is the first support following financial aid for fishing fuels made from last month.

The province will spend 2.396 billion won from reserve funds to pay 20 percent of the difference in the increase in duty-free agricultural fuels.

Farmers who bought six types of agricultural fuels including gasoline, diesel, kerosene, and heavy crude oil from January to May this year can receive the aid, and the payment will be between 44 won and 102 won per liter depending on the fuel type.

Applications will be accepted from the 13th to the 27th of this month at Nonghyup, which is the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation, and community centers.
A total of 29,000 farmers are expected to benefit.

In order to support farmers, the province will pay about 20% of the fuel price increase. 2.3 billion won will be spent from the reserve fund for the emergency aid.

The province plans to offer the emergency aid through November, and is also seeking support for the currently soaring fertilizer prices.




치솟은 기름값 허덕…농업용 면세유 긴급 지원


러시아 우크라이나 사태 이후 멈출 줄 모르고 크게 올랐던 국제유가.

그 여파로 농업용 면세유가도 크게 올랐습니다.

올 상반기 농업용 면세유 가격 추이를 보면 휘발유의 경우 1리터에 평균 1,218원,
경유 1,326원, 등유 1,069원으로 지난 2019년 하반기에 비해 60% 가량 급등했습니다.

물가 마저 오를 대로 올라 그야말로 신3고 경제 위기가 이어지며
농업인들의 부담은 날로 심해지고 있습니다.

어려움을 겪고 있는 농업인들의 생산비 부담을 조금이나마 덜어주기 위해 제주도가 긴급 유류비 지원에 나섰습니다.

어업용 면세유 지원은 지난달부터 지원되고 있지만 농업용 면세유를 지원하는 것은 이번이 처음입니다.

제주도는 예비비 23억 9천 6백만 원을 투입해
농업유 면세유 상승분 차액의 20%를 지원하기로 했습니다.

대상은 올해 1월부터 5월까지 농업용 면세유로 사용한 휘발유와 경유, 등유, 중유 등 모두 6종으로
유류에 따라 리터당 최소 44원에서 최대 102원까지 지원 받을 수 있습니다.

신청은 오는 13일부터 27일까지
지역 농협이나 읍면동 주민센터에서 이뤄집니다.

모두 2만 9천여 명의 농축산업인들이 혜택을 받을 것으로 예상됩니다.

제주도에서는 어려운 농가를 지원하기 위해 (유류비) 인상가격의 20%정도를 지원하는 것으로 해서 예비비에서 긴급하게 23억 원 정도를 지원하게 됐습니다.

제주도는 오는 11월까지 유류비를 보전할 계획으로
현재 급등하고 있는 비료 가격에 대해서도 지원방안을 모색하고 있습니다.
