Fierce Competition for First JDC Housing

Jeju Development Corporation (JDC)’s first rental housing project has a record high average competition rate of 13.8 to 1.

As a result, 116 people applied for six houses in Ara-dong, Jeju City, and 22 households applied for four housings in Seogwi-dong, Seogwipo City, a competition rate of 5.5 to 1.

The JDC also plans to recruit tenants for a national rental housing project and housing targeting young newlyweds starting this month.

Public rental housing is intended to reduce the burden of housing costs for the middle-class by offering yearly (전세) Jeonse rentals at a rate of 85% of the market price.




개발공사 첫 공공 전세주택 경쟁률 '13.8대 1'


제주도개발공사가 도내 처음으로 공급한 공공 전세주택 입주자 모집 결과 평균 13.8대 1의 높은 경쟁률을 기록했습니다.

접수결과 제주시 아라동은 6채 모집에 116명이 지원해 19.3대 1, 서귀동은 4채 모집에 22가구가 지원해 5.5대 1의 경쟁률을 보였습니다.

제주개발공사는 청년신혼부부 매입 임대주택과 국민임대주택에 대한 입주자 모집도 이달부터 순차적으로 실시할 예정입니다.

공공 전세주택은 중산층 무주택 세대의 주거비 부담을 줄여주기 위한 것으로 시중 전세가격의 85% 수준에서 공급됩니다.
