Jeju Releases Delivery App "Mukkaebi."

A delivery service called "Mukkaebi" has been selected as the preferred bidder for the public-private cooperative delivery service to ease the burden of fees for small business owners.

The Jeju Economic and Trade Promotion Agency decided after reviewing four service providers last month.

(먹깨비) Mukkaebi currently operates in 11 municipalities, including Seoul and Gyeongsangbuk-do.

Jeju plans to finalize the details and launch full-scale operation through promotion and pilot services to recruit franchisees and expand users.

소상공인의 배달 수수료 부담을 덜어주기 위한 민관협력형 배달앱 사업 우선협상대상자로 배달앱 운영사 '먹깨비'가 선정됐습니다.

제주도 경제통상진흥원은 지난달 민관협력형 배달앱 운영사를 공개 모집한 결과 4개 업체에 대한 선정심의를 거쳐 이 같이결정했다고 밝혔습니다.

먹깨비는 현재 서울시와 경상북도 등 전국 지자체 11곳에서 공식 배달앱 운영사로 선정돼 서비스 하고 있습니다.

제주도는 운영에 관한 구체적인 내용을 확정하고 가맹점 모집과 이용자 확대를 위한 홍보와 시범 서비스를 거쳐 본격 운영에 들어갈 계획입니다.
