JTO Promotes Workcation Stays


A a ‘work-as-you-vacation program’, so called ‘Workcation’ is to be actively promoted in the province.

The Jeju Tourism Organization (JTO) said it will target the "Jeju Workation Program" to employees of small and medium-sized companies in Seoul.

Programs will be designed to reflect the high demand that was confirmed at the Jeju Travel Showcase in Seoul. Nearly 100 applicants flocked to Jeju as soon as the recruitment began on the 2nd.

Participants will get to stay in Jeju for 3 nights and 4 days at hotel-class accomotation equipped with office space, and will offer activities such as horseback riding, yoga, and other marine leisure experiences.




제주관광공사, 일·휴가 병행 '워케이션 프로그램' 본격 운영

제주에서 원격근무와 휴가를 동시에 체험할 수 있는 워케이션 프로그램이 본격 운영됩니다.

제주관광공사는 서울 소재 중소기업 재직자를 대상으로 '제주 워케이션 프로그램'을 운영한다고 밝혔습니다.

이번 프로그램은 지난 4월 서울에서 진행된 제주 트래블 쇼케이스에서 확인된 높은 수요를 반영해 추진됐으며 지난 2일 모집을 시작하자마자 100명에 육박하는 신청자가 몰리기도 했습니다.

프로그램 참가자들에게는 제주에서 3박 4일동안 머무를 수 있는
호텔급 체류 공간과 사무공간, 제주지역 승마와 요가, 해양레저 체험 이용권 등이 지원됩니다.
