Hinnamnor Damages Farmlands

Typhoon Hinnamnor caused damages 50 times larger the area of Marado Island.

According to the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, the area of farmland damage identified until the 12th counted to 1,480 hectares, nearly 50 times the area of Marado Island.

Winter radishes, carrots, and cabbages were found to have been damaged the most in terms of crops due to floods caused by the typhoon.

The island predicts that the damage to crops caused by the typhoon will reach 6,300 hectares.

The province is receiving typhoon damage reports until the 23rd.




태풍 힌남노 농지 피해 마라도 50배 넘어


태풍 힌남노로 인해 마라도 면적의 50배에 달하는 농지 피해가 발생했습니다.

제주특별자치도에 따르면 지난 12일까지 농가 신고로 파악된 농지 피해 면적은 1천 480헥타르로 마라도 면적에 50배에 육박하고 있습니다.

태풍으로 인한 침수로 월동무와 당근, 양배추 등이 작물 피해를 입근 것으로 나타났습니다.

제주도는 힌남노로 인한 농작물 피해가 도내 주요 밭작물 재배 예상 면적의 절반 수준인 6천 3백 헥타르에 달할 것으로 전망했습니다.

제주도는 23일까지 태풍 피해 신고를 받을 예정입니다.
