Marine Waste Affected by the Typhoon

Seogwipo City is collecting marine waste caused by Typhoon Hinnamnor, and it has reached 454 tons so far.

By region, (예래동) Yerae-dong is the largest with 295 tons, with 30 tons in (대정읍) Daejeong-eup, 25 tons in (성산읍) Seongsan-eup, and 20 tons in (표선) Pyoseon and (대천동) Daecheon-dong.

Seogwipo City estimates that 503 tons of marine waste is generated by the typhoon and plans to complete it by mobilizing village associations, military units, and sea environment guards.

서귀포시가 태풍 '힌남노'의 영향으로 발생한 해양쓰레기를 수거하고 있는 가운데 현재까지 454톤에 이르는 것으로 나타났습니다.

지역별로 보면 예래동이 295톤으로 가장 많고 대정읍 30톤, 성산읍 25톤, 표선과 대천동이 20톤에 이르고 있습니다.

서귀포시는 이번 태풍으로 발생한 해양쓰레기의 양이 503톤으로 보고 마을회와 군부대, 바다환경지킴이 등을 동원해 조기에 마무리한다는 계획입니다.
