Natural Disaster Risk Reduction Districts Selected


Jeju City will sponsor feasibility studies at (교래리) Gyorae-ri of (조천읍) Jocheon-eup as a natural disaster risk improvement zone, where flooding occurs habitually due to torrential rains.

The feasibility study will be completed next month, and a briefing session will be held for residents of Gyorae-ri this month.

With the designation as a natural disaster risk improvement zone, 50% of the project cost will be supported by the government to promote project maintenance.




제주시, 교래리 자연재해위험개선지구 지정 추진


제주시가 집중호우로 침수피해가 상습적으로 발생하는 조천읍 교래리 저지대를 자연재해위험개선지구로 지정하기 위한 타당성 용역을 추진합니다.

타당성 조사는 다음달 완료를 목표로 진행되며 이달 중 교래리 주민을 대상으로 설명회가 마련됩니다.

자연재해위험개선지구로 지정되면 사업비의 50%를 국비로 지원받아 정비사업을 추진할 수 있습니다.
