JNU Holds Korean Contest for Foreigners

Jeju National University (JNU) organizes a Korean speech contest for foreigners on the 8th of next month in celebration of Hangul Proclamation Day.

Foreigners or migrants residing in Jeju Island, and can apply to the Korean Language and Culture Center by the 29th.

However, Korean Chinese or previous winners will not be eligible to participate.

The competition will be divided into the general category and university category, and awardees will receive a president’s award and prize money.

제주대학교가 한글날을 기념해 다음달 8일
외국인 한국어 말하기 대회를 마련합니다.

참가 자격은 제주도내 거주하는 외국인 또는 이주민으로
오는 29일까지 국어문화원에 신청하면 됩니다.

다만 조선족이나 지난 대회에서 대상과 금상 수상경력이 있는 사람은 참가가 제한됩니다.

대회는 일반부와 대학생부로 나눠 진행되며
수상장에는 총장상과 부상이 주어집니다.
