Free Flu Vaccination for Infants Begins

With the recent surge in flu patients, Jeju Island begins to provide free flu vaccinations.

Free inoculation is available to 258,000 people, including children between 6 months to 13 years old, pregnant women, those aged 60 or older, workers at vulnerable facilities, and the immunocompromised.

Shots can be administered at 536 hospitals and clinics entrusted as designated medical institutions.

Meanwhile, as there is a high chance of the flu and COVID-19 spreading nationwide together, people are urged to actively participate, and immediately seek medical treatment if any suspicious symptoms appear.




영유아·어린이 등 독감 무료 예방접종 시작


최근 독감 환자가 급증하면서 제주도가 독감 무료 예방 접종을 실시합니다.

무료 접종 대상은 생후 6개월에서 만 13살 미만 어린이와
임신부, 만 60살 이상 어르신, 감염취약시설 종사자와 면역저하자 등
25만 8천명 입니다.

독감 예방접종은 위탁 의료기관으로 지정된
도내 536개 병의원과 보건소에서 받을 수 있습니다.

한편, 방역당국은
전국적으로 독감과 코로나가 동시에 유행할 가능성이 커진 만큼
예방 접종에 적극적으로 동참하고의심 증상이 나타나면 즉시 진료를 받을 것을 당부했습니다.
