Jeju Recruits for Public Schools

The Jeju Provincial Office of Education (POE), will openly select 178 public secondary school teachers for the 2023 academic year.

In total 140 teachers to teach 19 subjects including Korean, 16 nursing teachers and a librarian will be hired. 6 IB educators and 14 teachers for specialized schools for the disabled will be recruited separately.

55 positions have been added since the last announcement in July.

Meanwhile, 8 private schools will be selecting 36 teachers for 14 subjects including Korean. The first will be led by the Jeju POE and held simultaneously with public school recruitment.

제주도교육청이
2023학년도 공립 중등교사 178명을 공개 선발합니다.

선발 인원은 국어 등 19개 과목 140명,
보건교사 16명, 사서 1명 등으로
이 가운데 IB학교 교사 6명과 장애 14명을 구분해 선발합니다.

특히 이번 선발 인원은 지난 7월 사전 예고했던 것보다
55명이 늘어난 규모입니다.

한편 사립학교 8개 법인에서도
국어 등 14개 과목에 36명을 선발하는데
1차 시험은 제주도교육청에 위탁해 공립 중등교원 선발과 동시에 치러집니다.
