Seogwipo Launches ‘Savings of Hope’

Seogwipo City is launching a ‘Savings of Hope’ for low-income families.

Beneficiaries will include people in the second-lowest income bracket. Applicants who save up to 100,000 won each month will be eligible to receive 7.2 million won to 14.4 million won in lump sum interest after its three-year maturity period.

In order to receive the benefits, applicants must be employed for three years and must be non-beneficiaries for any other livelihood or medical benefits within six months following the maturity period.

서귀포시, 희망저축계좌 신규 가입자 모집


서귀포시가 저소득층의 목돈마련과 자립지원을 위한
희망저축계좌 신규 가입자를 모집합니다.

가입대상은 생계 의료급여자나 차상위계층 가구 중 근로 사업소득이 있는 가구로,
매달 10만원 이상 저축하면 정부 지원금이 추가돼 3년 만기시
720만원에서 1440만원의 목돈과 이자를 받게 됩니다.

단, 혜택을 받기 위해서는 3년 동안 근로활동을 지속하고
3년 만기 후 6개월 내에 생계, 의료급여 탈수급이 이뤄져야 합니다.

희망저축계좌 가입은
읍면동 주민센터를 방문해 신청하면 됩니다.
