JNU's Dropout Increases

The number of students who withdraw from Jeju National University (JNU) is increases each year.

According to lawmaker (이태규) Lee Tae-kyu's report on dropouts from national universities nationwide, JNU recorded 363 students last year which is 73 more from 290 students recorded five years ago.

The ratio of dropouts of freshmens has alsoincreased from 12.7% to 16.1%.

The highest rate of dropout among national universities in the country was Jeonbuk National University, accounting for 25.6%.

제주대학교 자퇴생이 해마다 증가하고 있는 것으로 나타났습니다.

국회 이태규 국회의원이 전국 지역 거점국립대로부터 제출받은 자퇴생 현황 자료에 따르면 제주대학교는 지난해 363명을 기록해 5년 전 290명과 비교해 73명 증가했습니다.

신입생 대비 자퇴생 비율로 12.7%에서 16.1%로 크게 늘었습니다.

전국 지역 거점국립대 가운데 자퇴생 비율이 가장 높은 곳은 전북대학교로 25.6%를 보였습니다.
