Jeju Launches a Public-private Cooperative Delivery Service Application

The province will launch a new public-private cooperative delivery service application.

On October 14th, the province signed an MOU with the Jeju Economic and Trade Promotion Agency, Jeju Branch of the Korea Foodservice Industry Association, and a private delivery service application provider (먹깨비) Meokkabi.

The application aims to lower the burden of small business owners and consumers by reducing delivery commission by 90% and allows payments to be made with local (탐나는전) Tamnaneunjeon cards.

Meanwhile, (먹깨비) Meokkabi is a delivery service application provider that operates in 11 local governments across the country.

민간 배달앱사 '먹깨비'는 오늘 제주도청 백록홀에서
민관협력형 배달앱 시스텝 도입에 따른 업무협약을 맺었습니다.

민관협력형 배달앱은 탐나는전 결제가 가능하고 다른 민간 배달앱 보다 10분의 1 수준의 낮은 중개 수수료로 소상공인과 소비자의 부담을 낮추기 위해 도입됐습니다.

한편 민관협력형 배달앱 협상 대상자로 선정된 먹깨비는 현재 서울시와 전라남도 등
전국 지자체 11곳에서 서비스를 시행하고 있는 배달앱 업체 입니다
