Competition Hot for Middle School Teachers

A competition rate for the appointment of public middle school teachers, which are scheduled to be selected the following year, averaged 6.23 to 1.

As a result of the closed applications for 2023 middle school teachers, nursing teachers, librarians, and professional counselors accepted between the 17th to the 21st, a total of 1,109 applicants applied for 178 positions, showing an average of 6.23 to 1 competition rate.

History was the most competitive class with 12 to 1, and librarians recorded a high competition rate of 11 to 1.

The first written test will be held on the 26th of the upcoming month, and the final selections will be announced on February 7th of the following year.

Meanwhile, the private sector had 153 applicants for 36 positions, showing an average competition rate of 4.25 to 1.

내년 선발 예정인 공립 중등교사 임용 경쟁률이 평균 6.23대 1을 기록했습니다.

제주도교육청이 지난 17일부터 21일까지 2023학년도 중등교사와 보건, 사서, 전문상담 교사 임용시험 원서접수를 마감한 결과 178명 모집에 1천109명이 지원해 평균 6.23대1를 보였습니다.

가장 높은 경쟁률이 높은 과목은 역사로 12대 1, 사서교사는 1명 모집에 11명이 지원해 11대 1의 높은 경쟁률을 기록했습니다.

1차 필기시험은 다음달 26일 실시되며 최종 합격자는 내년 2월 7일 발표될 예정입니다.

한편, 사립은 36명 모집에 153명이 지원해 평균 4.25대 1의 경쟁률을 기록했습니다.
