Mourning Flags Raised for Itaewon

Amid the nation’s declaration of having a national mourning period for the Itaewon accident in Seoul, mourning flags are being raised at all government offices in the province, including the Jeju Provincial Government’s Office buildings.

The move comes after President Yoon Suk Yeol declared to hold a period of national mourning until the accident was settled in a public statement and have government ministries and offices to have mourning flags raised.

The flags will be raised high until midnight of November 5th.


제주도청 비롯 관공서마다 조기 게양

서울 이태원 사고와 관련해 국가애도기간이 선포된 가운데 제주도청을 비롯한 도내 모든 관공서 마다 조기가 게양되고 있습니다.

윤석열 대통령이 대국민담화를 통해 사고 수습이 일단락될 때까지 국가애도기간으로 선포하고 모든 정부 부처와 관공서에 즉시 조기 게양을 지시한데 따른 조치입니다.

제주도는 정부에서 정한 '국가애도기간'에 따라
오는 5일 24시까지 조기를 게양할 계획입니다.
