Jeju Prohibits Poultry Import

The Province has expanded a ban on the import of poultry products from (충청북도) Chungchengbuk-do Province, following (경상북도) Gyeongsangbuk-do Province.

Jeju has prohibited the import of poultry products from (충청북도) Chungchengbuk-do Province due to the recent outbreak of the highly pathogenic avian influenza at duck farms in (진천) Jincheon, (충청북도) Chungchengbuk-do Province.

Accordingly, poultry products outside of (경상북도) Gyeongsangbuk-do and (충청북도) Chungchengbuk-do Provinces must be reported in advance, and will be inspected at airport and ports.

Amid growing concerns over the spread of avian influenza, the Province asks poultry farms in Jeju to strictly comply with quarantine rules.


28일부터 충북산 가금육·생산물 반입금지

가금산물 반입금지 지역이 경북에 이어 충북으로
확대됐습니다.

제주도는
충북 진천시 오리농장에서 고병원성 조류인프루엔자가 발생함에 따라
충북산 가금육과 생산물 반입을 금지하기로 했습니다.

이에따라
경북과 충북 지역산 이외의
가금산물은 사전 신고하고
공.항만에서 확인 후 이상이 없을 경우 반입이 가능합니다.

제주도는 조류인플루엔자 확산에 대한 불안이 커지고 있는 만큼
농장 방역수칙을 반드시 지켜줄 것을 당부했습니다.
