Business of Greenland Holdings Getting Worse


The financial situation of Greenland Holdings Corporation Ltd.(Greenland group) is deteriorating to the point it is uncertain whether the green investment group can continue business.

According to JDC, the group announced on the 1st through the Hong Kong stock market its inability to pay its 500 billion won debt due on the 13th.

It is expected that this will also hinder their plan to complete the healthcare town construction with an investment of 200 billion won by 2024 which was suspended in 2017.

The project operator at JDC stated that they are planning measures while keeping an eye on international trends.

헬스케어타운 투자 회사인 녹지그룹의 자금 사정이 나빠지면서 사업 재개가 불투명해지고 있습니다.



JDC에 따르면 녹지그룹은 지난 1일 자로 홍콩 증시를 통해 13일 만기가 도래하는 5천억 원 규모의 채무 상환을 할 수 없다고 공시한 것으로 전해졌습니다.

이에 따라 녹지그룹이 2천억 원을 투자해 지난 2017년부터 중단된 헬스케어타운 공사를 2024년까지 마무리하겠다는 계획에도 차질이 빚어질 전망입니다.

사업시행자인 JDC는 국제 동향을 파악하면서 대응 방안을 구상 중이라고 밝혔습니다.
