Consumer Price Up 6.5% in Jeju


In the previous month, consumer prices in Jeju rated the highest in the nation, increasing burden on households.

According to the Jeju National Statistical Office, Jeju's consumer prices have increased 6.5% last month compared to the previous year.

Though consumer price growth has slowed for two consecutive months since August Jeju was the highest in the country, along with (강원) Gangwon and (충북) Chungbuk province.

By items, agricultural and livestock products rose 6.8%, industrial products by 7.5%, and services by 5.3%, respectively.



제주 소비자물가 6.5% 상승…전국 최고


지난달 제주지역 소비자물가가 전국에서 가장 크게 오르며 가계 부담이 가중되고 있습니다.

통계청 제주사무소에 따르면 지난달 도내 소비자물가는 1년 전과 비교해 6.5% 올랐습니다.

소비자물가 상승률은 지난 8월부터 2개월 연속 둔화됐으나 강원, 충북과 함께 전국에서 가장 높았습니다.

품목별로 보면 농축수산물이 6.8% 올랐고 공업제품이 7.5%, 서비스가 5.3% 각각 상승했습니다.
