Special Fire Safety Inspection Reinforced


Jeju Fire Safety Headquarters will reinforce Special Fire Safety Inspection to strenthen measures against serious violations that may cause massive casualties and property damage in the event of a fire.

A special investigation team was established to focus on fire prevention this year. The scope of operation of fire departments will also be expanded.

The government will plan to impose strong administrative measures, such as banning the use of buildings and business sites, and suspending construction. It also requests investigation agencies to investigate any suspicious matters.

제주소방안전본부가 소방특별조사를 강화해 화재 발생시 대규모 인명, 재산피해가 우려되는 중대 위반사항에 대해 강력 대응합니다.

소방안전본부는 올해 광역소방특별조사단을 신설하고 소방서에 소방특별조사전담반을 확대해 운영하고 있다고 밝혔습니다.

앞으로 중대 위반사항에 대해서는 해당 건물과 영업장에 대한 사용금지, 공사 정지 처분 등 강력한 행정처분을 내리고 의심사항이 발견되면 수사기관에 수사를 적극 요청한다는 계획입니다.
