Jeju city will be installing additional tents and heated seats at bus stops to protect citizens from the upcoming cold winter.

Accordingly, the city plans to install tents at 16 bus stops including those at the Jeju Bus Terminal, Jeju National University Hospital as well as bus median lanes with high populations to minimize the inconvenience of commuters.

Due to the positive feedback of citizens, the city plans to spend an additional 50 million won to install 23 more heated seats at bus stops around the island.

제주시가 겨울철 대중교통 이용자들의 편의를 위해
버스정류소에 방한텐트와 온열의자를 확대 설치합니다.

이에따라 이달 중
이용객이 많은 중앙차로 버스승차대와 제주버스터미널,
제주대학교 병원 등 16개소에
바람을 피할 수 있는 방한텐트를 설치해
이용객들의 불편을 최소화할 계획입니다.

이와 함께 온열의자도 시민들의 호응을 얻음에 따라 예산 5천만원을 투입해 23개를 추가로 설치하기로 했습니다.
