From this week, bivalent vaccines of the COVID-19 booster shots will be expanded to three types of vaccines.

The three vaccines are Moderna and Pfizer vaccines made using the early Omicron variant BA.1, and Pfizer vaccines made of the BA.4 and BA.5 variants.

Adults aged 18 and older who completed their primary vaccination meaning those who have received their second shot or more are eligible for the booster shot.

The province urges citizens to receive COVID-19 booster injections in preparation for the 7th Wave.
