The Emergency Vehicle Preemption System(EVPS) will be expanded in the province from the second half of the following year.

The Jeju Police will establish the EVPS at all intersections in the province until the first half of the following year in order to mobilize firefighting vehicles promptly and safely in case of fires or other disasters.

Currently, the system is only applied to the 14 km section from Ara Elementary School to the former Jeju KAL Hotel and from Nohyung Ogeori to Jeju National Museum.




내년 하반기부터 긴급차량 우선 신호 전면 확대


긴급차량 우선 신호 시스템이 내년 하반기부터 제주 전역으로 확대됩니다.

제주자치경찰단은 화재 등 재난사고 발생에 따른 소방차량의 신속하고 안전한 출동을 위해 내년 상반기까지 도내 모든 교통신호 교차로 1천여개소에 긴급차량 우선 신호 시스템을 구축합니다.

현재는 아라초등학교 사거리에서 옛 제주칼호텔, 노형오거리에서 국립제주박물관까지의 14KM 구간에 대해서만 긴급 차량 우선 신호 시스템을 적용하고 있습니다.
