Jeju Province won the grand prize in the National Finance and Tax Presentation initiated by the Ministry of Public Administration and Security.

Jeju particularly earned high marks for
Securing 8.1 million won worth of tax revenue when it eliminated the special provision on property tax rates for members of golf courses. This was done possible with the revision of the ordinance that followed the seizure of sales credit against golf courses with arrears for the past 10 years.

As the grand prize winner, Jeju will receive 200 million won or more in special subsidy tax.



제주도, 지방재정 지방세 분야 발표 '대상'


제주특별자치도가 행정안전부의 대한민국 지방재정 지방세 분야 발표대회에서 대상을 수상했습니다.

지난 10년간 체납한 골프장에 대한 강제매각과 지하수 단수, 매출채권 압류에 이어 조례 개정을 통해 회원제 골프장의 재산세 세율특례를 없애 81억원의 세수를 확보한 점에서 높은 점수를 받았습니다.

제주도는 이번 대상 수상으로 특별교부세 2억원 이상을 지원받을 예정입니다.
