More than 180 consignees of Dream Tower Residence Hotel suites have won victory over law suits.

The Jeju District Court's Civil Affairs Second Division ruled in favor of some consignees who filed a suit against China (녹지그룹) Greenland Group.

The court concluded that both the hotel distributor and operator Lotte Tourism Development who took over the shares are jointly responsible for compensation for damages.

As a result, the defendant is expected to pay approximately 12 billion won to compensate the consignees.




'최고층' 드림타워 준공 지연 손해 배상해야"


제주 최고층 빌딩인 드림타워 레지던스 호텔을 분양 받은 180여 명이 준공 지연에 따른 손해배상 소송에서 일부 승소했습니다.

제주지방법원 민사2부는 분양자들이 중국 녹지그룹을 상대로 제기한 계약금 반환 소송에서 일부 승소 판결을 내렸습니다.

재판부는 호텔 분양사와 지분을 넘겨 받아 운영을 하고 있는 롯데관광개발 모두 손해 배상에 연대 책임이 있다고 판시했습니다.

이에 따라 피고측은 분양자들에게 배상금으로 120억 원 가량을 지급해야 할 것으로 보입니다.
