The Jeju-Taipei direct flight route, which has been suspended due to COVID-19, resumed after two years and nine months.

Tiger Airlines, a low-cost airline under Taiwan's state-run airline China Airlines, arrived at Jeju Airport on the 25th with 180 tourists from Taiwan.

It has been 2 years and 9 months since February of 2020.

The aircraft will operate three direct flights a week between Jeju and Taipei.

The Province along with the Jeju Tourism Organization held a welcoming event to commemorate the opening of the Jeju-Taipei route at the Jeju International Airport on the same day.




제주 - 타이베이 직항노선 2년 9개월만 재개


코로나19로 중단됐던 제주 - 타이베이 직항노선이 2년 9개월 만에 재개됐습니다.

대만 국영 항공사인 중화항공 산하의 저비용항공사인 타이거항공은 지난 25일 대만지역에서 관광객 180명을 실고 제주공항에 도착했습니다.

지난 2020년 2월 이후 2년 9개월만입니다.

이 항공기는 앞으로 제주와 타이베이를 잇는 직항노선을 일주일에 3차례 운항할 예정입니다.

이를 기념해 제주도와 제주관광공사는 당일 제주국제공항 국제선 입국장에서 제주 - 타이베이 복항 기념 환영행사를 개최하기도 했습니다.
