The Province is calling for active participation in influenza vaccination, voicing concerns over the ‘Twindemic,’ with both COVID-19 and the flu spreading simultaneously.

There are now 8.3 per 1,000 outpatients in Jeju. The province stresses the need for vaccination compliance and personal hygiene rules to be followed and states that the island has already exceeded the pandemic warning levels.

In particular, free vaccinations are available for children and pregnant women, senior citizens aged 65 or older, and workers at vocational rehabilitation facilities for the disabled as well as the homeless. Thus, the province urges the immune vulnerable to get vaccination as soon as possible.

동시에 유행하는 '트윈데믹'에 대한 우려가 현실화되고 있다며
인플루엔자 예방접종에
적극적인 동참을 당부하고 있습니다.

현재 제주지역 인플루엔자 의사환자의 경우
외래환자 1천명 당 8.3명으로
유행주의보 발령 기준을 이미 넘어섰다며
예방접종과 개인위생수칙의 준수를 강조하고 있습니다.

특히 어린이와 임신부에 이어
만 65살 이상 어르신,
장애인 직업재활시설이나
노숙인 이용시설 종사자를 대상으로
무료 접종을 확대지원하고 있는 만큼
면역 취약계층은 조속히
예방접종에 참여해 줄 것을 당부하고 있습니다.
