As COVID-19 and influenza have recently spread simultaneously, quarantine authorities have been encouraging people for active participation in getting vaccinated.

According to Jeju Island, the number of influenza doctors in Jeju from the 27th of last month to the 3rd of this month, was confirmed at 20 doctors per 1,000 patients, four times higher than the epidemic standard.

In particular, the number of influenza patients has been on the rise for the past five consecutive weeks.

Jeju Island urged pregnant women, children, and senior citizens aged 60 or older to receive vaccinations and to comply with personal hygiene rules such as wearing masks and washing hands.

최근 코로나와 인플루엔자가 동시에 유행하면서 방역당국이 예방접종에 적극 참여해 줄 것을 당부했습니다.

제주도에 따르면 지난달 27일부터 이달 3일까지 제주지역 인플루엔자 의사환자 수는 유행기준 보다 4배 높은 1천명 당 20명으로 확인됐습니다.

특히 최근 5주 연속 인플루엔자 환자가 증가세를 보이는 것으로 파악됐습니다.

제주도는 마스크 착용과 손씻기 같은 개인위생 수칙 준수와 함께 임산부와 어린이, 만 60살 이상 고령자 등은 예방 접종을 받아줄 것을 당부했습니다.
