Jeju Island allows poultry products from North Chungcheong, Gyeonggi, and South Jeolla Provinces.

The regions were confirmed to have been highly infected with pathogenic avian influenza, however the decision was made to accept imports to the island, as no additional outbreaks occurred, after the maximum incubation period of the virus.

Up until now, live poultry has been banned from all parts of the country.

The prohibited areas for poultry products have been reduced to seven cities and counties, including (홍성, 충남) Hongseong, Chungcheongnam-do, (울주, 울산) Ulju, Ulsan, and Gochang, Jeollabuk-do province.





충북·경기·전남 가금산물 반입 허용


제주도가 충북과 경기, 전남지역 가금산물에 대한 반입을 허용하고 있습니다.

해당 지역은 고병원성 조류인플루엔자가 확인됐지만 바이러스 최대 잠복기 이후 추가 발생이 나타나지 않아 이같이 결정됐습니다.

현재 살아있는 가금류는 전국 모든 지역에서 반입을 금지하고 있으며

가금산물 반입 금지지역은 충남 홍성과 울산 울주, 전북 고창 등 7개 시군으로 줄어들었습니다.
